FC Den Bosch huurt spits Kacper Kostorz (23) het komende seizoen van het Poolse Pogoń Szczecin. Bevalt de samenwerking met de Poolse jeugdinternational, dan heeft FC Den Bosch na dit seizoen de mogelijkheid om de aanvaller definitief over te nemen.
Kacper Kostorz: “Ik ben blij dat ik hier eindelijk ben. Het eerste contact met FC Den Bosch dateert van afgelopen april. Sindsdien hebben we veel gesprekken gevoerd over de sportieve plannen die er liggen en hoe ik daar in zou kunnen passen. Maar ook hoe ik mezelf zou zien in een FC Den Bosch team en hoe ik bij zou willen dragen aan de realisatie van de doelen. Dat ik weet wat de club wil vergemakkelijkt mijn entree als nieuwkomer. Ik wil nu vooral zo snel mogelijk mijn collega’s en de staf leren kennen, trainen en wedstrijden spelen. Daar kijk ik enorm naar uit. Ik verwacht dat mijn eigen ontwikkeling parallel gaat lopen aan die van het team. Dat is een wisselwerking die vanzelf gaat als je met elkaar aan een hoger doel werkt. Want daar gaat het om, hoe goed we met z’n allen zijn. Het elftal dat als een team speelt maakt de meeste kans om te winnen. Ik weet wat er van me wordt verwacht.”
Yousuf Sajjad: “We wilden meer opties voor de spitspositie en die hebben we nu met de komst van Kacper. Pogoń, de club van wie we Kacper huren, speelt op het hoogste niveau in Polen en die league is zeer competitief. Ze doen ook regelmatig mee in de Europese competities. De ervaring die Kacper in Polen heeft opgedaan, neemt hij naast zijn voetballende kwaliteiten mee naar Den Bosch. Hij is een zogenaamde high intensity speler, snel met diepte in zijn spel en hij heeft goede looplijnen. Daarnaast past zijn persoonlijkheid bij het profiel dat we binnen dit team willen hebben. We denken dat hij dit seizoen een grote aanwinst voor ons kan zijn op een cruciaal deel van het veld.”

Kacper Kostorz on loan from Pogoń Szczecin to FC Den Bosch
FC Den Bosch hires striker Kacper Kostorz (23) from the Polish Pogoń Szczecin for the coming season. If the cooperation with the Polish youth international is satisfactory, FC Den Bosch will have the opportunity to sign the attacker permanently after this season.
Kacper Kostorz: “I am happy to finally be here. The first contact with FC Den Bosch dates back to last April. Since then we have had many conversations about the club’s sporting plans and how I might fit into those plans. But also how I would see myself in an FC Den Bosch team and how I would like to contribute to the realization of the goals. Knowing what the club wants makes my entrance as a newcomer easier. Now I just want to get to know my colleagues and staff as quickly as possible, train and play matches. I’m really looking forward to that. I expect my own development to run parallel to that of the team. That is an interaction that comes naturally when you work together towards a higher goal. Because that’s what matters, how good we all are together. The team that plays as a team has the best chance of winning. I know what is expected of me.”
Yousuf Sajjad: “We wanted more options for the striker position and we now have that with the arrival of Kacper. So we are pleased to welcome Kacper on loan for the season from Pogoń. He is quick, direct and has an aggressive approach. All of these qualities will benefit us as a team, as well as the individual impact he makes. In addition to his footballing qualities, Kacper will give us the experience of playing across a competitive league in Poland. He also fits the characteristics from a personality profile we want to have within the squad. We believe he can be a great asset for us this season in a crucial area of the pitch.”
